“Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside in a cloud of smoke, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming "Wow! What a Ride!”

Hunter S. Thompson

ABOUT ME

Hello! I’m Leemor. My background is in urban planning, regenerative development + design, frontier technology, biomimicry, and sound.

(MORE COMING SOON)

PROFESSIONALLY…

I’ve worn many hats, and my experience has spanned strategic partnerships + BD for a venture-funded autonomous vehicle startup; program and project management for urban revitalization and placemaking initiatives; operations for a private transportation company in NYC. I see through a regenerative whole-systems lens, and focus on potential to realize what wants to come into being. My leadership style is sensing-based (intuitive, collaborative, effective listener and communicator) and strategic (systems thinker, process-oriented, “get-to-the-heart-of-the-matter-er”). I say what I mean, and welcome tension as points of opportunity and breakthrough.
I’m deeply curious and challenge everything (though not everyone - at least not all the time!) to get to what’s essential. I build relationships of real connection, and convene people together in a way that builds trust. I’m light-hearted, humorous and easy to get along with. What’s the point if we’re not bringing out our aliveness in the process?!

FUN FACTS!🤸🏻‍♀️

✨ I’m one of 6 sisters. My parents really wanted a boy ;) When we were little, people thought we were a camp.

✨ As a kid, I was a rollerblading speed demon, zig-zagging and cutting people off on the streets of NYC as I zoomed by in search of the steepest hills to coast down. I’ve also danced at concerts and clubs on my rollerblades. Come to think of it, someone should have paid me for the entertainment I provided.

✨ I love to laugh and will likely make you feel funny, even if you’re not. My husband says I’m not discerning with humor. I say I’m exceptionally discerning, in that I can find humor in anything.

✨ I am strangely talented at Pop-A-Shot. You know those basketball games at the arcades? Yes, I can beat any score with my hand-eye coordination and cat-like reflexes. Someone once paid me just to watch me play. For real, for real (as my 4 year old son says).

✨ I really care about creating harmonically-resonant spaces, and my deep desire to bring them to life borders on heart-ache. I’ll find a way to share what this means exactly.

✨ I love going down and through rabbit holes - and wormholes! When we surrender to the flow, and let ourselves be carried by the current - that’s where the miracles are, right? This is what I live for - the sense of aliveness.

✨ My magical son Sol saves me every single day from the stupidity and forgetfulness of being an adult. As Buckminster Fuller says (I know, there’s a lot of him on this site): “Everyone is born a genius, but the process of living de-geniuses them”. Sol reminds me to laugh and play, and not take myself too seriously. He is effectively re-geniusing me.

✨ Mothering is the role I most love. This is not limited to being a mother to Sol. It is about a way of being in all spheres of life, bringing the eternal loving mother energy to every person, process, thing and place I engage with. It is my life’s work to bring the universal mother energy back into life and work, to be integrated - to facilitate the felt experience of a mother’s love. Isn’t that all we truly desire, anyway? To feel loved, held, cared for? I know I do.

✨ This is the section I most enjoyed writing on this website.
